Connect through USB dialup modem on Ubuntu

Hi guys, I need some help. I have this USB modem which i want to use to connect to the internet. Its a nokia mobile phone. I have used it before but on windows OS. So i know it will be usb modem. So how to configure it and install drivers. Then how do i connect to the modem? Please help me Connect through USB dialup modem on Ubuntu, i'm trying to do this for the first time in ubuntu.

Do you have the drivers for ubuntu linux? You will need the drivers and then once your device drivers are installed, you can use it like a normal modem, just specify your details like username and password properly... I hope this works...

Just plug your nokia mobile phone via usb and it will be automatically recognised by Ubuntu. Let it finish the driver installation and then you will be ready to use. You need to make some changes according to the service provider for accessing the internet via GPRS from your mobile phone.
