I have ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackpole installed on my computer and i keep on trying new Operating System. I don't know how to dual boot linux with linux. I somehow managed to install second ubuntu which is ubuntu 9.10 karmic koala [The Aplha] version. I now notice it has a lot of bugs. Is there a way to Remove Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala without damaging the 9.04 system? Please help...

Hope this helps... Well the best suggestion would be to just format the partition where ubuntu karmic koala is installed... Or may be just delete and re-create the karmic's partition.

Well i could do that but i want the GRUB 1 bootloader as my default bootloader and GRUB 2 has already taken over... How do i set GRUB 1 as my default boot loader again? Please help guys, i'm screwed...

Boot from Ubuntu 9.04 disc. Open gparted and see which partition is for your Ubuntu 9.04 and leave it as it is. Find out which partition is for the Karmic Koala. Now delete that partition with the help of gparted. Now see this for setting up GRUB boot loader. This will install Grub 1 back to your system : Use GRUB as default boot loader
