In the registry, change the location of inetpub from its original location (system drive) to the migrated drive, for example:

I've mostly been catching up on reading blogs, reading my daily digests from my Mid-South chapter of SCBWI,

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InetStp
PathWWWRoot: change path from C:\ to D:\

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\ContentIndex\Catalogs\Web
Location: change path from C:\ to D:\

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\MSFTPSVC\Parameters\Virtual Roots
    / - change path from C:\ to D:\

Re: What is Citrix client error 1606

I tried installing the 10.0 ICA client from the original 4.0 components CD and it worked. No other changes were made to the security of the PC. I have" \\." under Data for NetworkAddress and ServerNetworkAddress
    in the following Registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Rpc\NameService.
Could this be the cause of the problem?Does anyone know if there were changes made to the 10.1 client that would make the installation fail?

To work, ensure that all the spaces are there and it assumes that XP is installed on the C: drive. I got mine from the installation CD. I can not find it on the Citrix website. As an alternative, try the following. Since you've already exported the original key, right click the Common Administrative Tools value and select Delete. It seems to work fine on all but one of our Vista PC.
I'm certain a wipe and reload would solve it, but that's not always helpful. Right click in the right pane and select New, REG_EXPAND_SZ
value. Name it Common Administrative Tools. Now, right click the value you just created and select Modify. Enter:

    %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools
