Reinstall Dell Scanner 924

Hello , I have a Dell Scanner 924 , the problem is that it is not working in my vista computer , can you tell me how to reinstall Dell Scanner 924 previously it was working properly , but it does seem to work , and I cannot reinstall the software for my printer which is the "Dell 924 all in one" because I dont know how to do it , please help me thanks in advance

When Windows starts, it automatically detects new hardware. A window named Add New Hardware appears. Click Next and follow the wizard.After that, restart your computer so it can take into account the new drivers you just installed. Now you only have to install your scanner software , which allows you to scan your documents.


Add New Hardware Wizard

1. Plug the scanner into the computer following the instructions included with the scanner.
   
2. Press the Power button on the scanner.
   
3. Click Start, click Control Panel and then click Printers and Other Hardware.
   
4. Double-click the Scanners and Cameras listing under Or Pick a Control Panel icon.
   
5. Click the Add An Imaging Device listing under the Imaging Tasks section.
   
6. Click the Next button.
   
7. Select the scanner manufacturer and scanner model from the list provided and then click the Next button.
   
8. Select the port to which your scanner will connect and select it from the list and then click the Next button.
   
9. Enter a name for the scanner in the Name: field and then click the Next button.
   
10. Click the Finish button.

The repair utility can solve some software problems that occur either at the facility or to the opening of this software. To run it, follow these steps:

• Click Start, Settings, then Control Panel. In Windows XP, click Start, then Control Panel.
• Click on Add/Remove Programs, then select the HP Photo and Imaging or the HP PrecisionScan Pro 3.x.
• Click Change (or Add / Remove, depending on the version of Windows).
• Follow the instructions on the computer screen, then click Repair.
• If the Repair option does not solve the problem, install the scanner on another computer. This indicates whether the problem is related to the first computer or scanner.
