screen resolution of Windows XP too big

I dont how but when I started my computer and the screen resolution of the monitor was too low and everything on the screen appeared too big? I have also tried to go to into the settings tab and click on the ok button to change resolutions but it is so big that I can get the cursor down to correct it? What should I do, I am totally at loss, please help me.

Just check to see if you need any video driver updates. Try using the Tab key to select the button then hit enter. If you cannot see the OK button select the slider with the mouse then hit Tab 5 times and then press the enter key.

Yes, have you tried to reinstall the video drivers correctly? Windows may find some automatically, but it often does not find the right ones. You can also go to the vendor's website to obtain the most recent version of your video drivers and install those.

Re: screen resolution of Windows XP too big

Did you get any monitor set up disk along with the program on it which will set up your monitor automatically. If you don't have this look on your monitor for the manufacturer and model number. Go to his website and download the program. I f you cannot get this then you have to set up your computer manually. Go to control Panel and click on Display Properties. Then click on settings. The screen resolution should be moved to the right at least 1280X1040 or more depending on your monitor. Then go to Color Quality and change it to 32. If this works, let me know as ther are other things needed to set up your computer.
