If you take look on processor you can see "C" letter on it if its below 3ghz normally so CPU must support this technology. It is available in all Pentium 4 processors above 3 GHz . HyperThreading is automatically enabled in the Windows XP and windows vista. so i thing you dont need to do anything to enable it...

Re: Enable and disable the HyperThreading

Hyperthreading is automatically recognized by Windows XP all versions.
Yes, but sometimes it is not always the case, as I have experience in replacing a P4 1.8 by a P4 3.06 on an P4B533. For the HT mode to be recognized, we need that XP can configure the PC as ACPI Multiprocessor PC. However, it is a prior impossible if XP was installed or repaired so that the parameter APIC Bios is set to Disable. In this case, it is not possible to change the type of PC.
    The solution is simple:
Activate the "APIC" (in the boot parameters !) It should be noted that the method APIC is enabled by default ... but this was not the case for me
    Initiate a repair of XP
Prompt press F6 to install a driver, press F5
Just then select ACPI Multiprocessor PC in the list
    Continue the repair.

Re: Enable and disable the HyperThreading

First thing is to updated driver which can solve the problem. or Just go in the device manager, show hidden devices, select PC processor ACPI (or something like that ) And update the drivers taking the ACPI Multiprocessor. It updates the kernel of Windows, reboot and if everything is enabled in the bios, no problem In any case that is fine in 2000 under XP I have not tried, but I think it's the same.
