installing windows xp on a compaq presario cq61

I have bought a new compaq presario cq61 laptop and am trying to install Windows XP on it. As soon as I start the OS installation I get a blur screen cause there are no Sata drivers in Windows XP therefore it doesnt recognizes the hard drive. I have searched many sites to make an Windows XP CD and slipstream it with all the necessary drivers but I cannot find anything. So if anyone out there has a possible solution, please let me know it as well. Thanks for any help in advance.

I found some guide from hp site which will help you:

First Update Your Bios from here.

Now You need to slipstream Your Sata drivers (only ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller) with nLite. Here is guide how to do it and here are Sata drivers for You. Just unrar this drivers with winrar. Be sure also that You are using WinXP SP2 version. If you haven't got SP2 version here you can download this service pack and here. You have got guide how to slipstream this file with Your system again by nLite. In this program You can even burn Your new XP cd with this driver.

You have bought the latest version of CQ6x laptop models. For this model, IDT sound chip is used. Try reading XP downgrade guide from here. Your model is part of difficult model, as in the guide its do able tasks but needs more effort.

The sata drivers you provided did not work! Nor did all other I found im my endless search

I am posting this (even if the topic is kind of old) becouse I know there are lots of people that are looking for answers even now.

Just quit trying to get working Xp for Presario Cq61 if you are looking for one. There is just no such working. Did my searching for a months allmost every day, and I am tierd of it. I even manage to find Windows XP which allready had sata drivers in it, to bad its not for Compaq.
