    NTLDR file missing - Paragon format

    SITUATION
    1. 80GB disk was partitioned with Paragon, created patition g:
    2. c: had windows xp home installed with all the data of previous owner
    3. g: partition - installed windows vista pro+sp3 and other applications
    4. partition c: ordered to be partitioned with paragon, which performed task in blank screen mode, meanwhile windows was starting up (same in point 1.)
    5. when automatically restarting computer error NTLDR missing file appeared on screen


    6. BIOS Version A14 on Dell Inspiron 8600
    ==Primary Hard Drive recognized and listed as "80GB"
    ==does not allow by default to setup which partition is bootable
    ==CD/DVD listed first on bootable devices
    7. does not read or activate Windows Setup
    8. no floppy drive

    Normally error NTLDR missing is due to hard drive partition problem make sure you have all partition in same format like Ntfs or FAT.You can copy that NTLDR file form windows disk i386 check here for more http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318728

    The error comes out when your hard drive is either not properly connected or it is not configured properly in BIOS. To resolve the problem insert Windows bootable disc. Then boot from cd. The software will detect the old version of Windows. Select R from the keyboard to repair it. Windows will format the drive and install back your operating system.

    Thanks guys, sometimes miracles are happening.

    Yesterday night the computer was booted like 47x times...and it has not read the DVD, even if i put myself on eyebrows. Now, in the morning, heh, a piece of cake.

    Guess it needed to sleep over
