how to uninstall bittornado from ubuntu linux

Hi guys, I'm not too much into linux and i have a ubuntu box at my brother's place. There bittorando is installed and i want to uninstall it. How do i do it? I want to use transmission which is the default bittorrent client as far as i know. How do i uninstall it? Also if there is any better software then transmission do help me... Thanks in advance..

In ubuntu, Open terminal and type the following command :

sudo apt-get remove bittornado

Then Enter your root password and press Enter. Then it will start uninstalling the package... Hope this helps you...

Well i would go for uTorrent if on Windows Operating System and Transmission if on Linux Based Operating System.
