I installed fedora core on my box and during the installation i had no problem. Now after some day i was trying to compile and install some software i am not able to install it. I though the packages migh be corrupt, so i downloaded these new packages but still the same problem i get this error :
Code:
warning: Clock skew detected. Your build may be incomplete.
What may be the issue, can anyone help me?

Did you get any error or warning during the setup? I think you just ignored some settings. Did you setup date and time during installation? If not did it ever ask you to set it up? I think this problem is due to in appropriate date. Check the date...

Yes this error may occur if you have improper date or date not set. Set your date and try compiling the packages and it should build fine, Also try to restart the computer after setting the date if building packages gives error. Do post back what happens then. If you are not sure what problem it is post the complete error message here may be it has something else in it too..

The clock and date was not proper, i did it and restarted the machine and tried compiling the packages again but again i got the same error, then on noticing i found that the date and time were again reset. It was a BIOS battery problem, and i sorted it out... Thanks for pointing me in the right direction atleast...
