    How to disable driver signing in Windows 7

    I have recently installed Windows 7 on my computer. When I tried to install Realtek official driver, I got a message saying that the driver is not digitally signed. How can I get rid of this error message? Can I disable Windows 7 driver signing feature? If yes then how is is possible?

    Re: How to disable driver signing in

    1. Go to Start menu and type cmd.exe in the Search Bar and press Enter. (Remember you must be logged on as Administrator)
    2. Now type the following and press Enter:
      Code:
      bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
      bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON
    3. Restart your computer

    This will disable your Windows 7 driver signing.

    A group policy could even control this feature.

    1. Go to Start -> Run -> GPEdit.msc
    2. Now go to User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Driver Installation -> Code signing for drivers

    If this is inaccessible then change it via Registry:

    1. Go to Start -> Run -> regedit.exe
    2. Look for: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Driver Signing]
    3. Change the BehaviorOnFailedVerify key value to "0" for ignore, "1" for getting just warning mesage and "2" to block completely.

    I also have the same exact problem with the Realtek driver software. I have tried all methods for disabling the driver signing.

    Tried the F8 Boot up methods, tried changing the registry, tried everything but that damn message saying unsigned driver keeps popping up..

    any other solutions?
