    Navigating Command Prompt

    Hello good morning,

I'm in a problem now.It is not allowing me to remove a write protected file Some way i saw an article on How to delete "undeletable files".I can entirely follow the procedure except for one thing....But I have no idea to navigate the command prompt. When the command prompt window first comes it gives me C:\Documents and Settings\Owner>.Please provide me the necessary instructions to accomplish this

    thanks..!!

    All right here you go,First
    # set -o vi
now , you can aide Esc k to retrieve old command. Or Esc k/ to trace back the similar old command.

You should follow this at the prompt, to go "up" in the directory, type in:
    cd..
Now press Enter. The prompt should be one directory shorter. Just keep doing that till you receive it only saying "C:>" ( you need to do it twice)
