| Re: Winipcfg For Windows Xp
The winipcfg command for the ip does not work anymore in Win XP, the only way I found to go through command and type ipconfig In windows XP, here is that procedure to do it: click start Type CMD in the Run bar Type IPCONFIG at the prompt |

| Re: Winipcfg For Windows Xp
Windows XP has no default GUI for displaying and managing the IP address and DHCP lease in progress, as was the case in Windows 95/98 using the winipcfg. Microsoft offers to replace the tool with WNTipcfg Winipcfg.exe command to determine Windows 98 and Millennium the Mac address of the card Ethernet network, its IP address, netmask and gateway with an Ethernet card. To run it, Start -> Run and type the command. On Windows 2000 and XP, this command no longer exists. The command ipconfig / all in a window DOS gives the same results. |

| Re: Winipcfg For Windows Xp
This command does not work under XP, however, Microsoft has corrected this problem by providing users with the WNTIPCFG.EXE You can download it here After getting the program, run the installation. WNTIPCFG.EXE The file will be copied in C:\Program Files \ Resource Kit. You can create a shortcut to this executable on your desktop. Running this tool will identify your IP address, subnet mask and default gateways for each of your network interfaces. The use of WntIpcfg is more pleasant than the ipconfig tool as it also usable from the command line. |
