How to run Dashboard Widgets on OS X Desktop

I am running Dashboard Widgets on OS X Desktop. What is the procedure to move Dashboard Widgets from the Dashboard. Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Start by opening a Terminal and enter the following commands: defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES killall Dock.
Press F12 key and select the widget that you want to move from your Dashboard. Locate the point where you want to move that widget and release the button.

Go to “Applications/Utilities” double-click the “Terminal” , In a new “Terminal” window, type com.apple.dashboard devmode YES && killall Dock command, it create an entry in the com.apple.dashboard preferences file to activate a behavior known as devmode. This command will allow you to use Widgets. To remove, click the Widget and enter "F12" or "F4," then drag to position the Widget in the Dashboard. Release the mouse.
