    idea Windows Explorer. View options.

Is it possible to set Windows Explorer so that Under 'Tools" --> "View", only 'details' are shown, as opposed to naffing Thumbnails.
I managed to configure it before, but I've forgotten how to do it.

There are different settings for the different Version of Window Explorer. For Windows XP when you open a folder then at the top bar after help in the gray area right click and select Standard Button. Then you can see a option click on that and you will get five choice Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List and Details. If it is not there then you will have to run a system restore.
