    Restart logrotate service

    How do i Restart logrotate service? I made some changes to syslog file and want to apply those chanes to the syslog file and also to logrotate service. How do i do it? Please help guys... I can't figure out how to do it...

    Try to login as a root so that you can save changes to the syslog file. And once done, reboot your computer. That will let the changes take effect... All the best...!!

    You cannot restart logrotate as it is not a daemon and its being run from cron. Understand the basic, view the readme or some guide if possible. That will help you with many more things...
