Emulator Too slow , How to Speed up

Hello , I have a Epsxe emulator the problem is the emulation Seem to lag and is quite slow , the reason could be that i don't have a fast enough processor for my game. but what do i do? , is there any tips , trick or method to speed up the emulation for my slow processor , please help thanks in advance

The conclusion is that Emulation was slow and will always be slow , It should be normal that your machine is at least 10x more powerful than the emulated machine. These consoles are still too recent. Emulation retranslated the instructions to make them intelligible to the PC, so as it cannot compete with consoles the emulation will be slow

There is nothing to do, the emulators are not yet fully developed.
Only time will provide a more efficient version emulators , till then the best PS2 emulators are epsxe and pcsx2 . The problem with the PS2 emulator is that they are not fully developed ... Even with a good config the FPS is not stable. it will be Either slow or too fast ...

The only way to speed up an emulator is to speed up your computer, i mean you should have the Best Configuration available ,and the best way is to go through there options and reduce all the different options. eg. sound, game resolution. etc.also You can try the "Fast" button in pete's plugin, make sure you have the FPS Limitting set up properly, 50fps for Pal games and 60fps for ntsc games.
