Block Google Talk with Squid proxy firewall

Hi guys, I want to setup my network where in i have a linux server with squid proxy. How to Block Google Talk with Squid proxy firewall? What changes i need to make and on which port? Please help... Thanks in advance...

Configure your proxy to block the proxy on this URL addresses :

talk.google.com
talkx.l.google.com

You also need block Google Talk User Agent - User-Agent: Google Talk, only then you will be able to make your configuration work properly... Also check which other addresses does Google Talk use, block all those address...

Thats right, But before you setup all those configuration do this : Block all the ports except port 80 and 443. This will force the users to use the proxy Then you can do all those configurations...
