How can I see/explore the contents of a program file?
What do you exactly want to know. Do you want to explore a content of a executable file like a .exe format of just want to browse your start menu programs. Just go to C:\Program File. You will see all the folders here of the install software. Or right click on the program in the Start Menu folder and click on explore.
Great...if it worked! If you have Vista you try this! Where's Explorer?
Based on your idea, I tried EXPLORE in search and ended up in my DOCUMENT file~go figure!
To explore the contents of a program file, follow the steps below :
- Right click on the start button.
- Choose explore.
- Then open C: Drive, go to Windows directory.
- You will see most of the vista program files there.
Its no different that windows XP for vista 64 bit.
You can go to C drive & here you can find "program Files". Are you getting any error message.
In Windows Vista 64-bit, If you install 64-bit programs, that would go in the 'C:\Program Files' directory, but if you install a 32-bit program, it would go in 'C:\Program Files(x86)' directory...
