public key is not installed

I have some problem with yum installer in my red hat box. I don't know what went wrong, but the problem is i cannot install any softwares with yum. Whenever i try to install a software with yum it give me a long error log with this error at bottom : public key for packagename.version.i386.rpm is not installed How to i resolve this issue? Please help...

Is the public key installed for the package that you are installing? Public key is GPG file. Some package need his file to install... See if this is what is getting you this error...

Thanks for the swift reply. Yes, i have the public key file installed correctly. But still this problem occurs. This problem occurs with all packages that i try to install. If i try to install a package that does not need the public key file, then too this error occurs. I'm really frustrated...

Did you left any installation incomplete? Incomplete/pending installation may cause such problem. Run this command from console :

ps -ef | egrep 'rpm|yum' | grep -v 'grep'
