You must have at least one video plugin. The table below shows the best plugin on your video card.

    • Video Card > Chart Plugin
    • All ATI Radeon > Pete OpenGL
    • GeForce 256, Geforce 2, 3 and 4 > Pete OpenGL
    • TNT 1 TNT 2 > Pete OpenGL
    • G200, G400, G450 and G500 > Pete D3DX6
    • Voodoo 2 Banshee > Lewpy Glide
    • Voodoo 3 > Lewpy Glide (16bit) or Pete D3DDX7
    • Voodoo 5 > Glide or Lewpy Pete D3DDX7
    • ATI Rage 128/ATI Expert > Pete D3DDX7

if You Have Linux then Install the plugin video, as follows:

    Code:
    tar-xzvf / en_est_plugins/gpupetemesagl171.tar.gz mv libgpuPeteMesaGL.so.1.0.71 plugins /mv cfgPeteMesaGL gpuPeteMesaGL.cfg cfg /

The plugins First must be Decompress in the plugin directory of ePSXe. Once done launched the emulator, go to config-> video, and you will access to a window. in that windows Select the video plugin to use and click "configure", which will display the plugin options, the help files supplied with the video plugins can help you configure the best according to your hardware. Finally, click "OK" to continue.

When going after compatibility, you should use Pete's Soft GPU plugin, it's the one with the highest compatibility. When that one doesn't work with a game others have gotten working, you've probably made a configuration error. You should also use this plugin when you've got troubles getting certain game situations to display properly (for example the FF8 battle menus).
