How can I uninstall Directx 9?

I have installed DirectX 9 on my windows xp system. It allow to adjust capacity PC peripherals. Now i want uninstall directx 9. Does any one how to uninstall directx 9?

If you have System Restore enabled on XP or ME, you can roll your system back to before DirectX9 was installed. To uninstall directx 9 go to Start > Run > type regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DirectX > delete the DirectX folder, exit the Registry Editor, and restart your XP computer.
