    Vista: getting "elevated status" ?

Does anyone do this, and/or have any other at least semi-simple/straightforward way to get Vista to stop asking me to confirm if I want to do something time and again, even when I'm "logged in" with full admin rights? This idiotic feature of Vista (idiotic in that it's forced on you w/no easy way to turn off) is annoying as heck as I'm the only one who ever uses my PC. Thx

It seems that you are in a real frustrated state of mind. To get rid of this, I would suggest you to turn off Admin Approval Mode. Try to forcefully take the ownership for folders to your context menu.
