Windows Vista Error 6008 Unexpected Shutdown

Hi there,
I have desktop running windows vista. Few minutes after startup i get BSOD and my computer shut downs automatically. When i restarted my comp i get the following error: Error 6008 - unexpected shutdown. Can anyone help?

Try to reinstall windows vista. You can boot with the windows vista CD and check the repair options. Most of the times the windows system files get corrupt and causes such errors. There are some applications available on the net to recover corrupted files.

I think your system is infected with viruses. Update your antivirus and do full system scan. Use some free antivirus softwares available on the internet. Also run some anti-adware and anti-spyware applications.

It is possible that something is wrong with power supply. It may be a power problem. It can be your UPS, faulty battery, CPU power supply. Check all the hardware and replace the faulty hardware asap. You can test some borrowd parts of hardware from someone. All the best!

Here is the solution you need..

I get this error message for nearly 2 years.I searched all forums related to this error .But I couldnt fix it. No one has the real solution.
Yesterday I decided to read my motherboard manual. I read especially the uptading the bios part and I immediatly asked myself , why do I not update my bios ! That may cause the problem. I used the cd that came with the motherboard box. Installed the software , and let it download the new version of my bios.
For nearly 48 hours my PC did not restart. I think , it works..

What I suggest you is do not desire to update your bios. Check your motherboard version and download the right bios update.

Its not related to any software of hardware
I checked all of them...

Firstly , be sure to have no other problems with your PC !!
