Performance and Reliability Monitor stopped working with error message 0x8007000D

Hi,

I am not able to install the SP. I am facing the some problems. I've checked Task Schedular and RACAgent is still running: Status is Queued; Last Run Result is "Unspecified error (0x8007000D). Do you want to retype your credentials and try again?

There might be a configuration item somewhere that controls how big the log is allowed to get, and what to do when it reaches that limit. you can try a System Restore using a restore point dated before this problem if available. If that does not help, then a Repair your Windows vista using installation cd.

I had the same problem, I had try all the suggestions above. Try restore system point and it will help you. It looks like the RacAgent.exe is not working. Click Start button, type Windows Update in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. Click Restore hidden updates.

Well it might be because of hardware drivers. Windows Update is not pushing SP1 to those computers which are known to have hardware driver incomaptibility problems. Click on Start, type Windows Update in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. Click Check for updates. Then click on Install Updates.
