error 0x80070035 during backup of pc

I have Windows Vista Ultimate running up on my pc. I purcahsed a External Western Digital Hard Drive 250 GB which is 1 year old and working fine atm. I am able to do pc backup but at times when I try to do files backup I get this error code 0x80070035 at times. So can anyone help me how to solve error 0x80070035 during backup of pc? Thank you

I used to get the same error 0x80070035 and in my case it turned out to be that "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" was not turned on in Local Area Connection Properties. . . .which is accessed thru going to Network and Sharing center in the Control panel, selecting "Manage network connections" from the tasks menu on the left, and then right clicking and selecting "Properties" of the active network connection.

If i remember correctly error messages 0x80070035 are firewall issues and many on here have also used this to good effect to setup networks

You will need to install in both new boxes also many found third party firewalls to be a pain in the A and have had to remove them completly.

Have you try to make backup in safe mode?
