| What is mdm.exe?
Hi all, I have a windows XP. I found one process running in task manager. Is this process necessary? Or is this some kind of virus? Can i delete it? Anyone have any idea? Thank you for any suggestion. |

Your computer may be infected with viruses or adware. Install some good antivirus and run system scan to remove such infections. Also run anti-adware application for more safety. There are plenty of free antivirus programs available on the internet. |

mdm.exe is not a harmful process. It is associated with Microsoft Windows process debugging system. It is not required for system to run. You can end this process if you want. |

It is safe process. mdm.exe runs as a service from Microsoft automatically loaded on system startup. You can end this process by turning off the Machine Debug Manager by following steps:
