problem related to Xp

recently i encounter a problem i.e when i right click the mouse the refresh icon do not open imediately and it seems that the computer got hanged.
I had to wait for long time. some time i had to forcebily close the computer.

What is the problem ?

There can be many reasons for a computer being such unstable : First : A virus may have infected your computer and is using your computer's resources. Second : You have put too much softwares and games and your hard disk is almost full. Third : There is some hardware problem.

I suggest you to scan your system with an updated antivirus program. May be its just a problem with some processes. Still Have your system scanned for 3-4 time & with a good anti-spyware program.
Please make sure if there is any unknown Icon in your system.
let us know if you still face such problem like system hang or closing windows forcibly.

yes i am facing the problem.
sometime it is running as if nothing happened but sometime it started with the same problem.
i had scanned, run antivirus (original trend micro 2007 ) ,anti spyware, malaware but i could not get anything.
solution please ???

first go to tools > folder option > click on show hidden folders and system folders > ok

now check that hidden folders in c drive appears if folders till not appears then there must be virus is reason, otherwise the most recently installed/ un installed application is the problem that may be conflict for the system.
