What is CMLS Trace

What is meant by CMLS ? I have seen this at my windows XP system. Actually i have some files in my temporary folder which are not able to be deleted. CMLS Trace just started by itself and shows some results like this:
VirtualHoser::sendSnac: Snac sent.
VirtualHoser::sendSnac: Snac sent.

Please let me know what is CMLS trace and whom it belongs ? Thanks in advance.

CMLS is Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences. I think it is something related to AOL and their AIM system. SNAC protocol has been used by any number of AIM clients, whether sanctioned by AOL or reverse engineered. I was also facing the same problem some weeks ago than i removed AOL from the automatic startup file and than I was able to delete such files from my temporary folder. So i guess that may be those files get used by AOL and thus they can not be deleted without turning it off.

There is a protocol called OSCAR that seems to be the culprit. This is not an AOL developed AIM application, any application can be developed using our protocols which are published on the dev site.If you want to delete the files, use a Linux live cd like Knoppix.

Thanks for the quick help guys. That is all i wanted to know. I tried to delete those files after turning off the AIM and was successful. I appreciate you help.
