Need HDA Audio Bus Driver

hie......I just completed builting up my motherboard and installed Windows XP PRO SP2. When I was installing the SoundMax Audio driver, I received the following error message - "the HDA audio bus driver is required and not found." I also downloaded the latest audio driver, but still getting the same error.

Can anyone help me please,..?

I was also getting the same error on my IBM laptop. What I did was - I had access to the factory load and hence I found the XP file in C:\
IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\UAAHDAXP\. There are two sub-directories, xpsp1 and xpsp2, the file is named 888111us.exe in each.

Yeah I have also installed the same version of Windows and I am too facing the same problem, not being able to install the HDA audio bus driver. Currently I am still looking for an answer, so if anyone has the solution for this, kindly suggest it here...

HDA bus driver is normally included with the Audio Driver Package. Unzip the package and look for a file named kb835221.exe or kb888111.exe.

If not included, then download HDA Audio Bus Driver from different sources and check. The update can be downloaded from various locations.
