Taskbar icons are too small in windows xp

I have just purchased a new LCD 17" sony monitor and i changed my desktop resolution to 1024 x 768. Windows xp installed on my computer. After changing the resolution Icons in the task bar become too small, there is no effect on desktop icon. What are the settings to change the size of taskbar icons and font?

If Taskbar icon are too small in window xp and you want to change the size. Then Go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Change the Computer's Theme > Select the "Appearance" tab > Change the bottom one to "Large" or "Extra Large" fonts from three menu > Click apply > Click OK > Your fonts are large. Right click on the taskbar, then select Properties. Next click Start Menu / Customize and you will see the window with multiple option, select And click large icon on apply > ok.

Just open Display properties, themes tab, change the drop down to windows XP and apply or you can try this also Go to Control Panel/ then open Display.Click on the Appearance tab. Set the "Scheme" to "Windows Standard".If that doesn't work, you can change the size of the fonts in Properties of right clicking the Desktop, and Appearance.
