Processes tab missing in Task Manager

hello,

Yesterday, when I opened my Task Manager (by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del), I found that the Processes tab which is right next to the Application tab is been missing. The Processes tab which used to list all the possible processes running on our system is not there in the Task Manager. This is really strange..I am not able to see any processes without it. Can anybody please help me regarding this.....

Follow this :

Go to Start >>> select Run >>> type taskmgr.exe.

Hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift together, and while holding them down, press ENTER.

I would advice you to download Process Explorer. Process Explorer is much more powerful and a free tool than Task Manager. Process Explorer is a program that allows the user to track down DLL-version issues or to deal with the leaks, and give the user a quick view on the way Windows Applications run.

Advantages of Process Explorer :
- provide many options, say from a query option from the Process Library itself.
- sends files that you suspect to be infected to the VirusTotal for a scanning.
- capacity to go into the details of each and every program that is running.
- right click is enabled for any program that is open within the program and you can direct everything from a single program.

There is much more autonomy using this program that the classic Task manager.
