Windows Vista Language Change

My brother gift me Hp DV-5 from Italy, now problem is this that whole operating system Windows Vista 32-Bit is in Italian Language. Whenever i try to make it into English it does't work. Please help me in this regard.

The best option for you is to install vista from scratch. I don't think its easy to change the language from Italian to English.

I suggest you to install new Vista OS.

Download a language pack form Microsoft website. Microsoft offers an windows vista update of five additional languages. There is also a simple way to change the language. Try to enter control panel and see for the globe like icon. A blue and green globe refers to a language settings. Open it and from the drop down list select the language.

Just follow the below steps:

1. Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options.
2. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
3. Select English or another language from the drop-down list, and then click OK. You must log off the computer for the new settings to take effect.
