Yes! It is absouletly possible! you can install windows 7 from a flash drive to your laptop! but first you must make the flash drive equipped with windows 7 installation and boot files. so you need a computer with windows 7, a dvd drive. windows 7 dvd, a 4gb flash drive. now goto command prompt and type :
    Code:
    xcopy e:\ f:\ /e /f
here e: is the DVD drive and f: is the flash drive drive nothing else has to be done! now go boot ur laptop with the Flash Drive!
    Have Fun!

    Hi,
I've just tried the xcopy thing and I get this error, EVERY time...

    Code:
    D:\>xcopy e:\ g:\ /e /f
File creation error - The parameter is incorrect.

Unable to create directory - G:\
    0 File(s) copied
    1. I am running Win7 beta (official key)
    2. I have an 8GB mem stick
    3. I have a Win7 DVD.

    Help, thanks.

The USB has to formatted NTFS, Fat cannot deal with the file size.
