    Moving windows vista toolbar

I need help in Moving windows vista toolbar. I have been using Windows XP since my childhood and never had any problems with it. I recently switched to Vista as my new laptop came with it. I cannot move Vista toolbar. Is there a different way of moving toolbar in windows vista. Please help me guys. It takes me a lot of time to adjust, as i'm not into hardcore computing. Thanks

Its simple and its same as Windows XP. Just Click and hold at an empty space on the toolbar and drag it to the position where you need your toolbar to move. Only Four positions top, bottom, right and left are supported by Windows and version. Hope this helps you.

    Re: Moving windows vista toolbar

Thanks for the reply mate, but i already tried that. I used that method on Windows XP for years. Now on Vista it doesn't work.. Any other way or any tool to do it? I am hesitating to use a third party tool because it will make windows more slower and Vista is already slow... SO please help guys...

First Right-Click on the taskbar and see if the "lock taskbar" option is checked. If it is checked, Uncheck it and then move the taskbar as desired. When done, remember to lock the taskbar again. This is just because no one else changes this setting by mistake.
