I think your system is infected with viruses. Update your antivirus and do full system scan. Use some free antivirus softwares available on the internet. Also run some anti-adware and anti-spyware applications.
As you are a windows XP user, you can open task manager from taskbar. Just right click on taskbar and select task manager. Task manager will open in new window.
Restart your computer and try again. It is possible that your keyboard is not working properly. Try using another keyboard. Check all the keys. Sometimes the keys get jammed and creates such problems.
Try this:
- Click Start
- Then click Run
- Type gpedit.msc in the box and press Enter
- Browse "Computer configuration\windows settings\security settings\local policies\security options"
- Double click the line : Interactive Logon: Do not require Ctrl+Alt+Del
- Check the Enabled box
