How can i disable Welcome Center at Startup in Vista

I know Welcome Center that appears at start up in Vista is beneficial for easy computer configuration. But as i am using thsi operating system since long time i am now getting annoyed from this. Is there any way i can disable this Welcome Center at Startup ? Please help me guys...

To disable the welcome center in vista you need to work out in Local Group Policy Editor. Just go through this simple few steps:-

• Go to Start menu and type gpedit.msc in the search box and hit Enter.
  
  
• Now locate the following folder:-
  
  
  

  User Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Windows Explorer

• Here, on the right side, find the option Do not display the Welcome Center at user logon.
  
  
• Just double click on it and select the dot infront of Enable. This will Disable the welcome screen on start in Vista for all users.
  
  
• Now reboot the system. Thats it. you are done

You can also simple do it from Control panel as well. Open the Control panel in classic view and click on the Welcome Center.Uncheck the Run at startup box at the bottom of the Welcome Center window.Removing the checkbox from this will prevent it from reappearing at startup next time.

Thanks buddy. I really needed this. I'll try to do it from the control panel first and if it not worked than i'll try Local Group Policy Editor. Because i do not prefer to work in registry.
