| vista always ask to allow a program to run
I have vista ultimate, and every time it ask me to allow a program to run by giving the option "Allow". So I would like to know how to disable the allow option everytime i want to run a program in vista. Is there any tool or tweaks to run the program without clicking the "Allow" option in Vista? Thank you

There is a fix utilizing the Application Compatibility Toolkit, it may very well work for you http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946932 Download ACT 5.0 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

You can also set a shortcut in the "Quick Launch" and assign it elevated rights. It always prompts for an OK if your account is an admin member. However, you can have it always ask for permission, but you cannot have it to always run with admin privileges without asking.

One of those tweaks that looks good on the surface until you realise what you've actually done. Turning off the prompts while keeping UAC enabled is analogous to having a burglar alarm installed in your home - but with the alarm turned off so you don't ever get disturbed by it. UAC *is* the prompts. Without those, you may as well turn it off completely. |
