I have Windows 7 installed on my computer. I had used Windows Vista for a long time and i was familiar with Windows sidebar. But in Windows 7 i could not find the sidebar. I know that the sidebar exists in Windows 7 too. Can anyone help me with Turn on windows sidebar in Windows 7?

Click on Start Button and click on programs. Then from the list select Sidebar and click on it. And the sidebar will be running.

Well, thanks for replying to my question. But i did as you said. And i have tried this earlier too, but it doesn't start. I think it has some issues. Can anyone suggest me some work around? Please help guys, i have some amazing and useful gadgets and i wan't to use sidebar for them. Thanks in advance!

You cannot get your sidebar to run, that means you have turned off UAC. In windows 7 sidebar with gadget and UAC are related means if you turn off or disable UAC in windows 7 then sidebar will not work. So if have turned it off, just turn on UAC and you will be able to get the sidebar to work.
