    question automatic domain logoff SBS2003

    Hello,

I'm confused, I'm giving support to a company that needs to have workstations working for more than 72h.
it works fine when they work as local sttion.
When I've added them to a SBS2003 domain, after 24h work they close the network connections to the server, all comunications become very SLOWWWW till I reboot them. after the reboot it is ok.
It seems to be some GPO somewhere, but I cannot find where.
Have any one eard about this?

    many thanks,
    joao luis

If you are just looking for a way to log them off if they leave their computers on after they leave for the day, you can do this in group policy through Default domain policy by setting log on hours and enabling the log off after logon hours expire option in the GPO. however, if you want to auto log them off during logon hours after a specified period of inactivity you will more than likely have to use a third party utility such as the one here: http://winability-com.winability.biz/active-exit/

thanks on your answer. i'll look at the policy for logon hours, but what I want is the oppposite, I want to be sure that they never will be logged off from the domain, even if their logon was six days ago.

    Thanks for your help.
to give some feedback, I found a GPO inside of the domain security policy, under the kerberos policy an entry with the maximum time of the user authorization.
on my server it was set to 10h.

    many thanks again.
