Performance data source module could not find a performance counter

Yesterday, I was installing System Center Essentials SP1 on my Windows Server 2008. But this failed with an error message as follows:

Performance Module could not find a performance counter
How to solve this? I am using Operations Manager 2007 on my server for performance monitoring. Why am I getting "Performance Module could not find a performance counter" error message? Please help!

The following steps will help you to disable the rules via override:

    1. Navigate to the Authoring Space in the Console.

    2. Select “Rules” under “Management Pack Objects”.

    3. Type “Performance Data Source Module” in the “Look for:” box and click “Find Now”. Be sure a Scope is not set or filtering the “Health Service” Target.

    4. Find the rule, “Performance Data Source Module could not find a performance counter” under “Type: Health Service (2)”, right-click, select “Overrides”, “Disable the Rule”, “For all objects of type: Health Service”.

    5. When prompted, “Are you sure you want to disable this rule for Health Service?” click “Yes”.

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft to resolve this. To apply this hotfix, follow these steps:

    1. Copy the SystemCenterOperationsManager2007-SP1-KB951979-X86-X64-ENU.msi file from the hotfix package to a local folder or to a shared folder.
    2. Run the SystemCenterOperationsManager2007-SP1-KB951979-X86-X64-ENU.msi file.
    3. Locate the hotfix utility folder for the hotfix. By default, the folder has the following path:
    %ProgramFiles%\System Center 2007 Hotfix Utility\Q951979
    4. Import the following management packs from the hotfix utility folder:
    • Microsoft.SystemCenter.2007.mp (version 6.0.6278.19)
    • Microsoft.SystemCenter.ACS.Internal.mp (version 6.0.6278.19)
    • Microsoft.SystemCenter.Internal.mp (version 6.0.6278.19)
    • Microsoft.Mom.BackwardCompatibility.mp (version 6.0.6278.19)

Note: You must import the updated managment pack files by using the Management Pack Import Wizard in the Operations Manager console.

I still get this error even after installing the hotfix from Microsoft. I think there is a problem in the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 when used with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007. The error states that the object which was invoked has been disconnected from its clients.
