To Changing the Domain from Native Mode to Mixed Mode you have to follow procedure which is given below : Mixed mode in windows 2000 allows you to work with older versions of Windows NT and Windows 2000 server in native mode allows you to add Windows NT servers to your network. Right click on Ad users and computers, properties, tab general, change native mode.

If you have Windows NT servers in your organization, you can’t switch the mode of your Windows 2000 servers to native mode until you either decommission or upgrade the NT servers.Turn off all the DCs.Turn on the offline mixed-mode DC you set aside.Use Ntdsutil to give that DC all the FSMO roles.Rebuild all the other DCs from scratch; don't bring them online as DCs.
