When you start Windows XP many programs launch at startup and many programs that you do not necessarily start

    • To allow or not a program to start at boot time follow this:
    • Go to Start , Then run
    • in the command type msconfig to open the System Configuration Utility.
    • You can then change many options of your system.

You Would Like to Check Your Computer for any virus or something like that, another thing you can try is to go to internet explorer options and click on connections, then click never dial a connection
