    Re: HTML Signatures in Entourage

To establish a permanent formatting for your signature in Entourage 2004, you Have to go to Tools, then Signatures. Then in the dialog box that appears, click that button again. Finally, enter a name for your signature in the Name box. type the text of your signature just below. Finally check the box next to the "name" titled "Include in the random list. You can get more signatures in the random list. Thus in each of your messages will display the signature required in the circumstances.

In a plain text message, you cannot format text or add pictures or sounds , you will have to Change the message to HTML format. for this , In the message composition window, click on the Format menu, make sure that HTML is checked.

    1. On the Tools menu, click Signatures.
    2. Double-click the signature to change.
    3. If the HTML formatting is disabled, click Use HTML format using HTML format.
    4. Place the insertion point where you want to add image, sound or video.
    5. In the Message menu, point to Insert, then click the option of your choice.
    6. Locate the file to insert, and then click Choose.

    remember
    • If you are inserting a signature in a message in a plain text, images, sounds, videos then text formatting of the signature will be deleted.
    • Make sure the format (eg GIF, JPEG, PICT or TIFF) file that you want to add is supported by the version of Apple QuickTime installed on your computer.
