HI friendz,

I have a doubt in recent days windowsupdate no longer work, there are 7 updates to do and result an error 80071a30. I am unable to find it on http://support.microsoft.com. I have installed windows vista with servicepack 1. Can you suggest me what to do ?

Is this a 32 or 64 bits?
See the response of the Microsoft Technical Support there in.
Two approaches to try:

• Verification of services affected by WindowsUpdate.
• Rename the folder SoftwareDistribution

Otherwise:
Repair Windows from the installation DVD (Installation, Upgrade).
You must have SP1 on your installation DVD since you are
SP1.
