Hello , i Have Just Got an internet Connection for my Windows Xp computer, and after installing the Zone alarm Firewall , i found that the services and controller' application is to trying to Access the internet , Can you tell me What is services and controller application , and how can i remove it , please help thanks in advance

This application simply manages the services and if you go online, and if you disable it with the appropriate service. then you cannot go online.

The "Services and Controller" allows your PC to query a DNS server so you can use the site name instead it's IP address. If it's not allowed to access the Internet, you won't be able to use DNS lookup to translate the numerical IP address.

The Services and Controller App (services.exe) is necessary in order for you to surf the web. Generic Host Process (svchost.exe) is most commonly used for DNS. If you add your ISP's DNS servers to your Trusted Zone, then you can give this Access to Trusted Zone only (and Server rights to Trusted Zone only if it requires Server rights or something gets blocked). It will also require a Super Trust level.
