    BRMFCWND.EXE is corrupt and unreadable

    Hello,

Following my previous mail defragmentation. Windows says that now it can no longer access the internet and it has this message : Windows/Prefetch/BRMFCWND.EXE-07F3F47C.pf is corrupt and unreadable

I have used the CHKDSK utility

Does it validates the command and what is it?

I could not even do the defrag on his computer ....

    Hi,

1 - simply go into the directory "windows / Prefetch /" and delete all files in the directory. this directory contains only cache files of windows programs.

2 - BrMfcWnd.exe the file does not seem to be a normal windows file, it may be a virus.

3 - if it does not work, the person can execute the command: chkdsk / f
