silde show and various folder errors HELP!!

After installing an ipod video converter program which didnt work and i then uninstalled it.

my slide show has since stopped working not only this, system restore, personalization, user accounts, parental controls and windows update (still updates but i cant open the window) windows will not open

after re-booting the pc, it wouldnt start again due to an error, system restore was started automaticall by windows and i did a system restore to an earlier date but the windows still wont open but my pc now starts ok

anybody got any ideas?

virus protection is all upto date, recent scan found nothing

Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery\PhotoVoyager.dll"
Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery\PhotoAcq.dll"
Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery\PhotoViewer.dll"
Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery\PhotoCinematic.dll"
Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery\PhotoClassic.dll"

thanks, i have tried this and all entrys load ok apart from no 2.

this is what it says

Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Gallery\PhotoAcq.dll" was loaded but the call to Dllregisterserver failed with error code 0x80070005

have googled it and it came up with


any advice? does this sound correct?

thanks again, the error is still there when i try to run the slideshow btw
