    Autochk is not available for raw drives

    My computer with windows xp show error message on every startup. When start my PC it display message " Checking file system on C : the type of the file is RAW : Autochk is not available for RAW drives windows has finished checking the disk". Why this message at every start up? Is this problem related to my operating system or any file or driver is missing in system?

    Autochk is not available for raw drives error is related to c drive in your computer. Right clicking on c drive, go to properties, select tools > Check Now (under Error Checking). there are two box will appear check both box and Restart the computer and Error Checking will run automatically after the restart.

    Remove your drive from computer connect that drive to another PC as a slave drive And run Easeus Partition Manager which detect disk error like 'Autochk is not available for raw drives' and It will correct it and fix the partition and file system to return it to your normal partition type.

    Have you tried to scan your system with antivirus?
