What are sprtsvc.exe errors

I am Windows XP user. I keep getting a message from my computer once or twice a weak saying sprtsvc.exe errors. Also whenever i run my Norton Antivirus, it keeps finding this 'exe' script trying to run. What is sprtsvc.exe ? Should i run it or delete it? Please help.

It is is required to run on startup in order to benefit from its functionality or so that the program will work.sprtsvc.exe program has no visible window and is located in a subfolder of "C:\Program Files".sprtsvc.exe is a user invoked program and a normal part of PC operations and it is used by many companies for their IT and customer care needs.

The file size for this program sprtsvc.exe on windows XP shown in varieties like 202,280 bytes (44% of all occurrence), 202,544 bytes, 201,968 bytes, 202,800 bytes, 202,560 bytes, 202,224 bytes.
